Lucabella had the honor of placing in the Top 5 at Miss Ohio 2024 and earned a $3,500 scholarship for placing 3rd runner up. Lucabella’s friend and the new Miss Ohio, Stephanie Finoti will represent the buckeye state at Miss America in January of 2025.

After sharing her goals to end the silence surrounding suicide in schools across the state of Ohio, Lucabella could not have been more proud of her Private Interview. She earned a $500 scholarship for having the highest score in the Private Interview competition.

During the Thursday Night Competition, Lucabella was awarded the first Preliminary Health & Fitness Award in the history of the Miss Ohio Program. As a healthcare worker and a fitness enthusiast, this recognition was the fruition of her hard work. 

The Women in Science, Technology Engineering, and Math Award was a $500 scholarship awarded to two women, including Lucabella, who excelled in the STEM Interview. Lucabella was eligible for this award because she is pursuing a career in the STEM field, specifically as a nursing student.

The Ya Ya sisters competed in the Miss Ohio Program together for years and decided to create this award to recognize a contestant who shows style and personality on stage. Lucabella received this distinction along with a $500 scholarship on Miss Ohio Finals Night.

Just two weeks after the Miss Ohio 2024 Final Competition concluded, Lucabella earned the title of Miss Northern Ohio 2025.
