About Lucabella
Education
As a recent graduate from Thomas More University’s College of Nursing, presidential scholar, member of the university honors program, and Secretary of the Student Nurses Association, Lucabella has a strong commitment to her education. She now works as a Nurse Intern at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in the Acute Care Cardiology Unit (ACCU) while studying for her NCLEX Exam.
Advocacy
After losing her beloved grandpa to suicide, Lucabella’s dedication to promoting wellness through mental fitness began at an early age. Her family decided to turn their pain into purpose and have helped to start the conversation about mental illness in their communities.
Opportunity
Lucabella has experienced the Miss America Opportunity working in her life as a change-agent for the past seven years. Starting in the teen division and now in her third year as a Miss contestant. Lucabella holds the title of Miss Clayland 2026 and will compete for Miss Ohio this month! Throughout her time in the program Lucabella has earned $19,870 in scholarships to fund her college education.
